    Looks like fun and gfx are pretty awesome :)

    I just dont get why they feel the need to place skyscrapers where there arent anyones in real life^^ 0:30

    I think graphics are good but won't be good as f1 2010 in game. Trailers be decieving. In f1 2010 it's super sharp. Here there is like a blur effect going on - in game mode.

    How many versions are they releasing, like all the time. :D GTR3 needs to hurry up.

    The blur effect could be turned on/off in game options in Shift 1 and should be easilly removable by editing the config files if not available in Shift 2.

    As for graphics comparaison, it's just a different game and looks already very good to me ... I wouldn't mind some less impressive graphics if they deliver a game with adjusted physics and handling vs Shift 1 which were terrible.

    In the long run arcade games with good gfx will adapt more or less the simulation physics from pure simulations, and pure simulation game title series will adapt the eye-candy from arcade games :thbup:

    So we should celebrate every step forward on either side, as they all benefit future simulation titles :clap:

    I hope they have improved the engine sound of the cars. Shift 1 is good, but I think the car engine sound is horrible. Then again I like GRID engine sounds. Shift 2 looks very good to watch. Lets see what it is like to play :)
    Good to see they put the Bathurst track in the game. This should be good to play. It is a hard enough track to drive on with a road car! Even at 60 kph. The track is a public road most of the time, when it is not being used as a race track.

    The game is not that bad ... Helmet cam is looking good and elite mode handling is definately an improvement over shift 1...

    Still would not have paid 50$ to get it ... but I would be curious to see how motion could change the game and also try the fastest cars ...

    Saw some graphic issues with my 5870 running all setting max out...

    Cool menus and AI seems lees stupid also ...

    Hi bleco,

    I tried the game but I seem to be getting massive steering input lag using my Thrustmaster T500. I also noticed graphic issues with max settings so I've turned everything down for now until I figure out the steering input lag issues.

    Did you try to play with the wheel sensivity and deadzone in game settings? It's running not so bad with my Fanatec GT3 wheel ...

    There seems to be an issue with calibrating the T500 in Shift 2. Now when I try to calibrate the wheel, I get an error that says multiple inputs have been detected. It calibrated once but I can't seem to get it to re-calibrate. The wheel works fine in all other games so it must be something to do with Shift 2.

    Are graphics better than f1 2010? I still think that is the best for graphics. True natural light and colours. I would like gtr3 to look like that game.

    Wow, games are getting graphically intense. If a $200 + VGA card is having issues , then thats impressive. I will keep this in mind as I have a GTX460 and it will be melted at full stick on this!
    Time to save up for a new motherboard and two GXT460's in SLI. They should outdo a GXT580.
