Ive done some facebook live videos, I will get some on youtube and share here....I really wish these two groups got a long better, This site is home to me but it feels like im cheating on someone using simfeedback even though my other rig is still simtools.....

Well it also depends on your settings as well as how far you put the actuators apart... Here's my rig with the SFX100 and Dirt Rally:

This is waaaay more than D-Box's 1.5" can do and feels pretty good to me. Of course it's not a fully suspended 7-DOF flight simulator, but the speed of the SFX100 is so good, you get lots of 'road effect' details.

I have a seat mover too, keep in mind I havent done anything to the defualt profile. I can certainly change the intensity and I still dont have the drivers turned up as Im learning to model the profiles. The benefits here for me..,...the bounce you get when you go off of a ramp, the pitch you feel (keep in mind the back drops but the front also goes up) and for a hill climb it feels awesome......the movements are strong, you feel way more than this video shows....and cost....I spent around 1700$ for the actuators and the build...to me thats not a lot especially when compared to the amount I put into my OSW that uses the original Argon alone that was like 700$ at the time.....strength, i had my two kids on this thing wtih me and not once did it hesitate or even get warm to the touch.......and Dbox....go ahead and get a quote on a set of dbox actuators....f-that....For me, I am happy and having come from a seat mover, the feeling of this for me is best. Traction loss, sway,,,,you can feel them better, I dont know how but the way it can whip the 4 actuators you feel the fling.....rumbler.....you can also have these things do your rumble like transducers...thats another benefit however the software does include the ability to add a transducer

    Thanks for the video.

This will definitely be my next simulator type to build. It's rigid, it's strong, cost effective and performing very good.
I've been following a lot of SFX100 projects since it all started over on the german forums and I like that some folks here are also building it - it gives me confidence to start the project myself.

And it is also a space saver, right now I have SCN5 3DOF, the whole setup takes a lot of space with actuators behind.

You wont be upset, I would never spend the money on a D-box...but that was the only reason, just wasnt worth it...this solution made it worth it for me....few folks are stacking simtools on top of simfeedback....I might give that a go later on but I just added traction loss to that rig so who knows...again my dream is for these communities to nurture each other....dont need the whole x-sim battle again

I just got done building an SFX100 and coming from a seat mover this puts it on a whole new level. The feeling of actually riding on the suspension of the car is fantastic. I was nervous about investing the time and money into this type of system but that went away immediately on the first test drive. Also very simple to setup and run. The software always seems like the worst part of any project but the simfeedback software is simple and works really well. You won't be disapointed.

Here I see the video, I don’t see how 4x for 3DoF works..... you can see clearly one leg lift up. That not just means one leg was being too short at given a moment of time, it also means other leg(s) could be too long....
I don’t think it produces 3dof motion accurately. Maybe small vertical movement for bounce and bump would be proper, but not for 3DoF motion though imo:

I know that video, and that’s not how it works with sim racing games. This is with No Limits 2 and it’s known that the plugin for that roller coaster sim is still buggy and makes the rig move in strange ways. With all the big sim racing games it works fine.

You are correct though that with 3 actuators they will always remain planted on the floor. But with four actuators you can also simulate individual suspension feedback on all four wheels.

I can tell you that youre making complete conjecture statements.
