Setup for motion simulator

    Hello all,

    The word of motion simulators is new for me and have a few questions.

    What are the different setup for motion simulator? After reading many many post here, it seems that 2 setup are the more popular. One setup use two actuators in the back of the seat and the other use two actuators two move all the hardware (seat, steering, screen,). What are the name of those setup? What are the other possible setup?

    Also, which data from the game is used to control a 2 DOF? Only the accelerations? Tilt should be proportionnal to the acceleration?

    Dear Yoshi,

    You started making your simulator yet? ....... 2df or 3df i think lol.

    2 must mean 2 actuators.
    3 must mean 3 actuators.
