    My Motion Simulator:
    AC motor
Hi to all I am Sean O'Connell I am from Knysna Garden Route South Africa. I am a pilot of trade and am currently in the process of building my own fixed base 737-800NG cockpit. I will include a photo of my progress in this post.

I need some help and advise from the forum? As I said I am building a fixed base simulator at home and not a full motion simulator but I do want to make my control's Force Feedback controls and I want to know if SimTools would be able to do this? I already ordered my motor's for the force feedback and they are 3 x 80ST-M04030 close loop Servo motors and their drive systems and also the Planetary Reducer Gearbox for each of them according to my sim build witch is 1 x 7:1 ratio (Ailerons) , 1 x 15:1 Ratio ( Elevator) and 1 x 20:1 (Rudder). I will also include a photo of this at the end of the post. I had a guy Ian Hopper from BFF Simulations that used to make the driver boards and the software for the Flight Simulation Force Feedback but unfortunately he stopped production due to COVID and Brexit and parts shortages. I am now stuck with no solution until I stumbled on this website of XSimulator.

I know this is more for the full motion racing simulator builder but as I see that the software supports Microsoft Flight Simulator and P3D and my question is will the software be able to extract the information from the simulator program to support the function of force feedback for the Ailerons, Elevator and Rudder to give a force feedback feel for my simulator?

I truly hope that SimTools will be the answer to my problem, please guy's any help and advise would be much appreciated.

    Kind Regards
    Sean O'Connell
