    Indeed very nice!

Is it possible to use bearings for the pivot under the seat with your current pieces?

Would you say that the price of 8euro/m is average in Germany, or did you get lucky? The profiles cost a fortune here in Canada as well, a structure like yours would easily run me $1500-$1800CAD with all the bits and pieces.

That was my next plan. Perhaps I have to drill to fit in the bearing.

The prices are quite common. Only at ITEM itself they are more expensive. Have a look at Ebay Germany. There you get everything you need for good prices. Shipping is the problem to overseas :(

Henning, this is nicely done, a very clean setup! Good Job!!

So you woke up one morning and said “ I am going to create a U-Joint; That’s neat!!!

I think like all amazing inventions, you should name your universal joint “The Flux Capacitor 4.0 Pivot” no charge for this advice.

    Thanks

    Robert

Ich bin heute Nacht um 3 dann erstmal fertig geworden mit dem Triple Screensetup, und trotz der fast zugefallenen Augen hab ich beim ersten Testritt ein ganz dickes Grinsen bekommen :)

    Nice Job!

Monitor size looks very good but I would use a little bit less agressive angle. That's not a very big issue since your monitor stand also seems to be adjustable. Everything is adjustable on your rig! very nice!

And I agree with Frakk, In canada it would cost near 2000$ for a rig like that ... Mine cost me near 1000$ ...

What is the monitor size by the way ?

I like your RPM gauge ;-) Are your gear and speed display all Sym Projects products ?

    Hi,

i haven't seen that there were answers :uups:

The TVs are 32 LG Full HD and make a perfect job. Good color und verrrryy fast reaction time. I couldn't measure any difference to a PC monitor. In the little grey (ugly) box are the Gi Max and the SPI-D. Also but hidden in it is the Revburner for the revmeter and a little USB Hub.

Seit letztem Donnerstag (fast) fertig. Jetzt fehlt nur noch der elektrische Anschluss der Bass Shaker.

Nice looking mods to your already very cool rig :D

I see you have added some bass shakers, did you buy them in Europe or direct from the USA (Parts Express)??

My rig is currently being welded up and I plan on adding some bass shakers to the seat and the pedal area and maybe under the steering wheel mount (maybe not such a good idea).

We have a reseller in the UK selling Bass Shakers (The Shaker Centre) but they want an eye watering £110 (GBP) a pair !!!!
Parts Express sell them for a very reasonable $29 (US Dollar) each, but the shipping, import duty and VAT all adds to the cost, but still less than the UK source.

Do you think the Bass Shakers add much to the experience, and how many do you think are needed in the seat and the pedal mount/ floor area??

It's only worth my while to get 6 or more from the USA due to the shipping, maybe if there is anyone else in the UK interested we could share some costs and do a bulk order.

Deaks (freezing in the snowy UK) :thbd:
