    Hmm,

    Perhaps someone should create a installation pack of Oleroc's RBR app that will install in the correct places the required dll's and register them too... How hard that can be?

    I'm saying that cause not everyone has VB6 studio installed on their PC, atleast not for just to be able to use Oleroc's RBR app !!

    Am I to understand that Oleroc's RBR app. will only work with vb6?

    It is made with Visual Basic. You dont need VB, but you need some of the VB6 libraries. MSwinsck.ocx and the dx8vb.dll file are two of them.

    However, I just needed the MSwinsck.ocx
    Most likely I had the other files already on my system from other apps...

    Is the app requesting more library files still?

    Btw, make sure that neither Vista UAC nor any firewalls do block neither the app, nor the needed ports

    Does anyone know where the dx8vb.dll file needs to be placed in order to open Oleroc's RBR app?

    Ok I figured it out. Those files needed to be placed in X-sim folder and now I'm getting all the physics. Can't wait to hook up the seat and go for a ride. Thanks again egoexpress and to everyone else who's been involved in making the X-sim and all the profiles to work with all these games. :clap: :clap: :clap:

    Both files you mentioned before are Visual Basic libraries. They belong into the windows/system32 directory IMO.
    But apparently they work in the XSim folder as well.

    Most likely a windows reboot fixed it after registering both libraries I guess.

    However...it works.... :cheers:

    Does it make any sense to include other no-motion values in the injector's database?
    Sry if it's not the appropiate thread. Everything here is still new to me. Feel free to move it or delete if needed.

    I do have some addresses found for RBR. For instance:

    Pointer = &H165FC68
    Speed = &HC
    RPM = &H10
    Temperature = &H14
    Turbo = &H18
    Distance from start = &H20
    Distance to finish = &H28
    RaceTime = &H140
    SessionTime = &H15C
    Gear = &H170

    Some of them are already in the database. The other ones I don't really know if you are up to include them into the database as they are not useful for sim-motion but for outgauge matters.
    If they were good for the DB, I don't really know where in the injector's positions table should be included or if there are reserved spots.

    You have PM.

    Read this thread, beginning from here, to see how to send RBR data to the Force-Sender:
