    Guys,

I have a fresh install of rFactor and X-Sim on a PC running Windows 7, dual core duo processor.

rFactor had been working fine for a few weeks and when I first installed X-Sim, it detected rFactor and then rFactor would no longer work. X-Sim extractor seemed to be working fine in Task Manager.

So I uninstalled X-Sim and rFactor, then reinstalled both. RFactor worked fine again and as soon as I completed the install of X-Sim and started extractor, then tried to restart rFactor, the same error message came up again.

I have searched through the forums but nothing jumps out.

    Any ideas from anyone?

    Chris,

    I am running Windows 7 32 bit.

I have fixed my problem. I had forgotten to restart my PC after changing the UAC.
