Question Re registering Sim Tools

    Hi guys,

    I was provided a SimTools registration number when I purchased a DofReality P3 Rig.

    Over the weekend I had to reformat my PC and now I have to re-install all the SimTools software, plugins etc. I put the registration number into the registration box along with the DofReality email address.

    When I check the registration number it says the number is valid and already registered.

    Does that mean I don't have to register again when I install all the SimTools software?

    I presume I will have to download all the plugins again which means I'm going to have to spend my coins to download the latest plugins.

    I did copy the plugins folder prior to me reformatting my PC. Can I just re-insert the folder with the plugins back into the appropriate place or will the linking not work any more?

    Yes, you will have to re-register the new installation if SimTools to unlock it buddy.
    You need to re-download the plugins and install them from .zip.
    As they also have the banner and the max/min file in them for the game.

    I've got enough coin for the plugins but not sure about the registration process.

    It's not the cost that's the issue, its just understanding the process

    I'll look again tonight and see if I can work out what I have to do.

    I guess I'm not sure exactly what you mean by re-register. The first time I was given a number by Dofreality and it was under a Dofreality email address. To re-register I will need to get a new code won't I. Is that from Dofreality?

    Thanks yobuddy but clearly I'm doing something wrong because when I tried that it came up with a statement saying something on the lines of "the number has already been registered" and then blanks the email and registration code fields.

    I'm sorry, Im sure this is taking up too much of your time already, but I just don't understand where I'm going wrong.

    Rich sorted out the issue and was able to re-register my copy of SimTools.
