I was thinking it would feel more realistic to have the pitch and banking of the track apply to the full frame, while having the other forces apply to the seat mover. From what you have described in your 'comparison of simulators', it sounded like that would be the best of both worlds. I would only apply the pitch and bancking of the track to the frame mover, no other forces. So the speed necessary to to feel the bumps etc would be achieved with the seat mover. The pitching and banking of the track is a slower, smoother motion so I thought it would be best suited to the frame mover.

Do you not see any benefit with this idea?

Not really , balancing (tuning) a profile correctly will bring all this action alive , even on a seat mover. But others have done a separate surge table and even in the past I have seen an independent sway table too.

See to simulate theses properly the surge needs to be a horizontal movement forwards and backwards and sway needs to be a horizontal movement from left to right, on a seat mover because the rig can not move in those directions I mix a little sway onto the roll to give me the motion cue that the vehicle has slid or being pushed to the sides and do mix a very quick sharp surge on the pitch in order to feel the gear changes nice and sharp as they should be but in turn I mix surge with a lower min than the max so the breaking is not too harsh, so when breaking you are not being squashed between the wheel and the seat. This type of profiling has taken a few years for me to perfect a method but in most software's its done in a simular fashion, Just SimTools makes it so much quicker to do. Takes me about 15min to build a nice base profile to then tune via the GameManager when I change car or situation in a game.

Depending on the degrees that you want in your movements will depend on how you set the Axis Assignments and how small or large you set the Min and Max setting in the tuning centre.
Once built you will see what I mean with a little bit of experimenting with values it all becomes clear.

OK. I'll take everyones advice and start with the seat mover, and possible add a sway table later on. Thanks for all the feedback.
