    http://www.roboternetz.de/wissen/index. ... schermotor

Vielleicht, musste halt ausprobieren.

    :D Fussbodenheizung kostenlos...

Nee, schon richtig verstanden. Muß mir die Motoren mal anschauen..

btw: Was meinst Du wegen den Kunststoffrollen?

Kommt warscheinlich halt aufs Material an...

Btw, schon gelesen?

    Tobi

I finally found a wheel that works :)
Because of the smaller motorfix points of my wipermotors i tried to make it another way. Just get a nut that makes it a little bit longer.
Do you think that it works when only the arm and the direct axis but no small plate is used? Please look at the photos...

(of course the bolt of the arm is missing in the photo)

    Thanks!

    Tobi

ach, was ich fast vergessen habe.

    http://www.x-simulator.de/forum/elektro ... -t717.html

Today we´ve done the frame, the plattform and the articular.
    I post some photos tomorrow...
btw: what do you think about my idea for the wipermotors??

    Hi Tobi,

Do you have a drawing or a photo of what is your platform would be like? I can't propose a proper way to connect the motors otherwise.

    But consider these:

I think it would be better if you placed the X mounting points a little to the back, near the seat to have easy access to get in the platform. ;-)

You can leave the Y axis mounting points centered.

And another thing to consider. You should somehow mount the X axis motors on the Y axis frame, perhaps using a tubing frame, to have them moving along the Y axis motion travel, or else you might encounter a failure on the design.

    Just a thought...

    Regards, Thanos

    thanks for your reply :)

OK, here are the newest photos of the project.

My thoughts about the mounting of the motors:

Sure, too much wheels, i know. Just a quick bad drawing...
The motor should be mounted on the plate (steel).
The mounting would be made with dexion like yours.I also would like to use a belt and mount it at the plattform via a rope clip.

I´m a little bit unsure if the power of the wipers are enough to move this baby.

    Ok, Now I see...

Placing the y axis in the front it just not going to work!!!! Just imagine that you have banked the platform 30 degrees to the side and you want to move the y axis up or down...!!! The front side Y axis point of the platform will introduce inclination for the x axis center point resulting in strecthing of the pulley cable left and right!

I suggest to place the Y axis mounting point to the rear then that the distance is equal for both sides!

Thats way I mounted the Y axis motor on the X axis frame to have it move along on my joyrider!!!! ;-)

Placing two motor running in parallel for each axis will work! But to be sure keep the platform as balanced as you can. Oh, and try not to put much weight too high from the floor of the platform...

Are you sure? I think as long as the motors keep in row with both lines through the interception point (joint), it should be ok.
What you've mentioned would be just true, if the joint would be in center of the platform. But it isnt.
