    Hi,

you can use the x-sim software for such a project. You just have to make following settings in the Force-Profiler.

If braking or accelerating, both axis have to move in one direction.
If you drive through curves, g-forces have to be simulated by inverting one cylinder in the Force-Profiler

This effect processing can be realized this way:

Axes are named with X/Y instead of left/right, still. But that should be no problem

dieser Thread widmet sich allen Ideen zum Bau eines Simulators auf Basis eines FREX simconmotion Systems mit pneumatischen Aktuatoren und von x-sim angesteuert.

Ich finde das wäre ne Überlegung wert!

    Frex-style!!

Already have the first drawings ready for making
    a frex-style setup!

I'll be using my 270 mm hubs on it!
For now i'm building new extension controller like
    http://www.cadsoftusa.com/people/kls/fl ... roller.htm .

The extension spools are currently being made!!
I also ordered a new valveblock (SMC SY5320-6LOZ-C6F and the rest that is needed)

I hope it's delivered next week!

    Hi Renoboss,

you want to use 270mm hubs for a frex like design? don't you think thats to much hub?

    hubs

    Hi Egoexpress,

270 mm is what i'm using on my chair now (doubled on a single axe) and i even ordered 2 more to replace the originals which i use in push-pull for left/right banking.

I've have sketched up a design in which i can use them!
Remember , by changing the angle it works on you can make shorter movements. By using the 270 mm hub i keep some margin regarding
the weakness of pneumatics! (stopping at position X and repeating that same stop)

As mentioned before, that's why i'm making the new extensioncontrollers! , based on a Bourns 10 turns potentiometer!

I'm really looking forward to see pics or drawings. Till now I can't imagine how you want to make a frex design with 270mm hub.

    regards

    Hi egoexpress,

No news on this new project! Have done no developing towards it at all!
    (It's very busy at work)

First I need to figure out which profiles I need !
Than perhaps first contact Mike78 to have him contact the Dutch Reseller!

And to be quit onest, because of the electric actuator project my plans
    are a kind of frozen!
