What do people usually use to connect the motor shaft (1/2 inch threaded rod) to the rod end joint? Can you fabricate any sort of metal for this or is there an easier way to do it? Photo attached of the part I am trying to explain. (question also asked in my build post https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...ift-flight-and-racing-sims.10798/#post-140068).

    Thanks.

i Highly suggest running nylon nuts and running a Standard nut as a "jam nut" having the Axel/lever loosen off the motor isn't something you want happening. (Also Dont go crazy tightening the axle shaft, You Can damage the motor if you go nuts)

Also if you have a welder or access to one, CRANK down on the 2 nuts pinching the 5mm flat bar lever and tack those nuts to the Lever itself.

Thanks for the advice and your detailed build post. I am off to get some nuts this morning. Perfect timing. Good to know you used 5mm flat bar as I was not sure on a suitable size.
