I ordered the motor and bracket from the same company I got my original motors, these are fully shielded with white controller option.

Cheers for the file, I will check it out.
If you adjust your chair back and forward for different drivers, how much play do you get in belt tensioner ? Or should I try to mount it to the chair so it also moves when adjusting seat forward / back ? I am 6/4 so most ppl need chair way forward to have a go :)

In Tinker cad I created a shape with your part which removes all additions and mods to original and creates a solid part, I just sliced this in Cura and there were no gaps. cheers

File deleted as it was incorrect and Chris is now supplying this part with the kit..

Ok.. I kinda found a solution, I went back to Fusion and rotated the shaft and key by 5deg , it centered the key slot between the belt gear peaks :grin

You were correct, sorry, I just looked from the underside of the part... once I stripped the slice down to half way I had the same thing. I just tried moving the keyway, so the corners are at the widest part. This still protrudes into the belt grooves, which will be a problem when the belt runs over it... I wonder if Chris added an extra slot to the pulley making the outer diameter wider, allowing for the bigger shaft ? I will wait, and hopefully he can set us straight on how it is done.
    Cheers

Excellent cheers I tried the same and for some reason could not get the depth without encroaching on the belt slots :)

Ok, here's a version that i got to work on. I rotated the shaft 5deg to the left and i needed to move both holes by about 0.9mm back . I was initially hesitant on moving the holes off center, but then realized that we will not be spinning the spindle like a linear actuator... :D Anyway , please check the file if this is alright for you.

    Cheers

Yeah Master Jiang are good. also where I got mine from :) they will do heaps of stuff for you if you ask. they will make the linear rods as well with holes tapped at each end. Seems like nothing is too small for them which is good to know.

Basically I set mine up for my driving position with a bit of slack and just do minor adjustments by tightening the harness itself.
Thanos is busy making the firmware to better be suited for belt tensioners like this so hopefully there will be a nicer way to talk to it and calibrate etc. currently it still thinks its an actuator on a ballscrew. Might have to test out the new firmware soon..

This one is centre bored and has correct keyway size for 80ST. Still has the smallest .2mm gap on one of the lower gears. I sent it to Chris who made the originals and asked if he wanted to see if he could fix it on his cad program and add it to the other files for others if they have the same motor as us.
I am only using Tinkercad so it is not great for tiny details.
This part takes just the right amount of pressure to push onto my motor with zero play once all the way on the shaft.
Part removed, as Chris has sent out the new one by email to those who need it. I am doing a test print of that file now.

Just sent the first test 80ST spindle STL file out to those who may need the revised spindle for the 80ST motor. I added a single tooth to increase the gear diameter just a bit. I based the shaft / key hole off of Bobbitchin's last file (Thanks!). If any of you can give this a test fit and provide feedback for adjustments that would be great as I don't have access to an 80ST. Chris / Flag Ghost.

Hey guys, I printed this one out, and it was way too tight to go on my motor as the keyway was not deep enough. I have sent Chris a remix with a chamfered entry and a deeper key way. It slips onto my motor easily at first, then from about one third to half way down requires a bit more force to seat it home. It went on by hand, but would require a lever of some sort to remove it again, and it is solid as a rock on the shaft. Cheers Bob

Hi @Bobbitchin, just wonder where we differ in printing.
My print of Flag Ghost's "Spindle V0.1" fit perfectly with the key on.... IT had a small play without the key.. but with the key , it was what we term "Slide fit". cheers :)
