    Actually, I would try it out on comms with buddies, that might be fun. But solo I much prefer road racing. (not that I am at all good at it). :)

    Before I tried oval, I did not think it was going to be a lot of fun. I really like oval now but I only like longer tracks like Charlotte Motor Speedway, dont like International speedway all that much.

    No problem @Historiker I was really just kinda getting peoples opinions. i like the c7r at the ring gp in assetto (2:05.241 so you see I am slow) and i race watkins glenn and sonoma(nascar tracks) in iracing. but other than karts and rally thats about it for rc's. rednecks have a hard time turning right. just dont feel natural lol. As far as the ovals I love them all but there are a few i dont run to often because of wreckers.

    I prefer road courses, but there is also a lot of skill in oval. Yes you just turn left, but its about being smooth, staying behind another car to break the wind, and avoiding the wrecks. They are fun but not my cup of tea

    you forgot the bump and run. i prefer the close quarters fast pace of oval racing. road course racing is boring to me. sure there are moments but for the most part its car and driver vs the track. oval racing has nuances that i prefer also. I prefer long races 1/2 distance or longer. I will try to get at least 4 coke 600's in this year, thats 2400 miles and 16oo laps. thats roughly a drive from michigan to florida for fun. I ran 5 daytona 500's in february. Iracing does do team endurance road course racing though and that may interest me in the future. not sure about a 24 hour daytona but 12 hours of sebring would have been cool. 4 guys 3hours each, or two 1 1/2 hour stints. They are also starting a multi class vln team series that mirrors the real vln endurance championship schedule at nurburgring.

    I race both but prefer oval. What these road guys haven't figured out is you can drink beer and race oval.
