    Actually there was discussion on another thread about a plugin that allows for recording and syncing motion to movies, and this would be an awesome one to do.

    I've actually done some trials on this with a Open Source package called Blender, where you can track the camera to motion on the screen and then play that motion back in Blender.
    I've never actually looked at the Blender API, but given it is a 3D program it would not be a massive leap to pull the spacial data from it.....

    In fact ETS2 (Euro Truck Simulator 2) is sandboxed in Blender.

    As soon as I get rights to access Video Ride Player, I will share (after some tests) some videos with motions data.
    I can try to make a motion on this video (using a joystick) but I'm not sure it will be well done.

    I already recorded videos and motion data (using an Android smartphone). I think it will be much better !

    The most immersive I think is MTB with GoPro using this platform I built :

    A friend of mine which is working in a theme park filmed for me a rollercoaster (small) with GoPro and motion data too ;)
