    PS your PSU's aren't 1000w but rather 850w, seeing as your likely powering them off 110v.

    Correct on the PSU's
    The only concern I have at this point after seeing the rig in real life.... (drawn in CAD) Is will the whole rig be top heavy under extreme motion? What is the general consensus on width? I can add out riggers easily at this point, and anything else you guys might suggest.

    The PSU's are working fine. Here is a picture of my solution for connectors AND bridging the top and bottom contacts.
    I put a slit in the XT90 connectors with a dremel and then soldered them onto the boards. Works like a champ and are good for 90 amp continuous.

    I highly suggest more than just 2 castor wheels, 2 up front is a wise idea.. Also you'll want to widen your base frame as well. Check out @Avenga76 build....you'll see what i mean about a wider more supportive frame.

    Still need to add a couple braces for the front casters, since these pictures, Iv'e added the seat universal stalk.

    I am to the point of deciding what CTC to use on my motors.
    I general read that around 60mm + or - is a good starting point with motors I have.
    What are your thoughts? I have seen the links for the math, but have not seen a link for practical suggestions in the FAQ's.

    Also.... I am running my Rift. I still am unsure whether to mount the sensor on the rig (moving with) or make it stationary...
    I can't find a definitive answer for this

    Personally I am of the view that on a fast small axis movement sim try off the rig.

    On a large axis movement sim there is no real option but mounting the camera on the rig, as there is nor generic way to do motion cancellation. A gyro mount is also needed.

    Thats what I am thinking as well....
    I will initially try off the rig.
    I Build and Fly UAS for a living and have access to all sorts of small gimbals, so that could be an option as well. But just more to add to the mix....
    Hopefully will not have to go that route

    I keep seeing reference to the grounding issues with motors, causing shorts in your other equipment.
    Does this apply to my setup guys?
