    My Motion Simulator:
    4DOF
First time building an entire unit from scratch.
Controller is a PIC32bit 44 pin processor on Micromite chip.
Running 4 axis of movement using 12VDC windscreen motors using bridge drivers.
Using COM1 port USB to Serial interface

Using MM Edit program i can send it a command and the motor will move.

But when using the Simtools interface nothing happens (no data pulse indication on the signal LED on the RS232 interface board).
    I am using Simtools 3.0

This is the current setup in simtools.

Any idea's or general direction for fault finding would be appreciated.

I'm guessing your hitting save, and then 'test settings'?

Yes hitting save and then "test settings" and this comes up in the error log afterwards. Any ideas? Appreciate the help!

The Com port tied to interface #1 is already in use by another program.
(Maybe MM Edit is still open?)
