Would it be possible to add a "PM" button to the forum threads in case you want to send a quick note to another member? One on the profiles page would also be helpful. Right now you have to click on their name and choose "Start a Conversation". It is not really intuitive.

profile page, you mean the page when i click on name or avatar? Maybe we should rename "conversation" in Write a PM? More common, or?

The nomenclature could be changed, but I think it's more the fact that it takes 2 clicks to get to the "write a PM page", whereas most forums provide a PM button on each post, so it only takes one click.

    My understanding of his query.

Lets see if its acceptable. (When i translate conversation to PM i have to translate dozens of phrases in the system)

    Champion!

It took me a while to find the link. It's under the banners, which are under the avatar.

It's also possible that I am just tired, because it is late.

    G'night!

Rene, Arron has it correct. The natural tendency when looking to send a private message is to look for the "PM" button. I didn't notice the "start conversation" link either as it looks like it is a heading for the information listed below rather than a radio button. "Start Conversation" is not very intuitive for most forum junkies.

Sorry that I did not notice that before, but as I mentioned it looks more like information rather than a link.

I do not mean to nitpick I think you are doing a great job and very much appreciate it.

As to profile pages; usually there is a "PM" button there as well when you want to send a message.

Yea you re right, i will make it more clear that it is a button and i will rename it to something like "Send PM conversation" So that new user associate the term "pm" with "conversation" as conversation is the default term this forum uses.

Absolutely ok! We want to improve the technical basis, so its important to discuss it:)

    Hi Michael,

i tell you when you change your youtube video to public;)

Look at: Your Profile > Information. On the right upper corner there should be a small edit button.

Totally hidden, i have to agree.
