So you created a new plugin for SimTools, and you even added some error detection.
But how do you stop SimTools when a problem arises?

Well with SimTools v2.2 (and above), you can tell SimTools to Stop with this sub routine. :D
    EStop.jpg

When the above Sub routine is executed, SimTools will immediately stop.
And Game Manager's On/Off button will show that it received a 'Stop' command.

To be clear, this is not a substitute for a Real Emergency Button that cuts power to a simulator.
(And it is not a replacement for one.)
But it's a way (mainly for plugin writers) to stop SimTools immediately should we need to.

Here is my little test app. (so you can copy and paste the code as needed). :thumbs

    My Motion Simulator:
    AC motor, Motion platform
This could be handy to stop the sim when a simulation 'G' limit is reached on a crash etc (BFF has this). Could really save my body....:).
