Some years ago I decided to have a go at making some kind of simple clutch solution. I was always a stickler for H shifters and of course the only thing missing was a manual clutch control that would really affect gear changing.
My solution was a few made up brackets, something I found in the workshop, a bicycle brake cable and 2 pins (the longest I could find at the time).
Obviously really simple but i actually worked. I've never tried it again but after looking at the video again I may start havinga look at a more technical solution.

Thanks for posting the video of it in action. I am unclear what your trying to remedy by building it?

In other words preventing gear selection when the clutch is not depressed/engaged.
