did you use these aluminum profiles for ease of assembly or because they are sturdy? I know they cost a lot, to save money it would be better to use tubular iron or would the structure be less robust?

Good job scruck. I'm from Mallorca, I'm working on a project similar to yours and I have doubts about the motors since I want the entire cockpit to move. Do you think these motors would move the entire simulator?
    thank you..

Great job. Do you have any doubts in Spanish? I have bought material to start my base with two engines and on Monday I receive the engines and I already have everything. I'm going to try to adapt it to a challege playseat to assemble and disassemble easily. We'll see

    Hello Scruck,
thank you for your very complete tutorial. It's thanks to your video on YouTube that I decided to create my compact 2dof sumulator.
At the time I send you this message the engines work perfectly with SMC3 and simtools,
I'm waiting to have enough parts to download the Assetto Corsa plugin and actually start calibration and testing.
In the meantime I am waiting for my order to arrive to assemble the aluminum gaming seat and place the motors:)
Have a nice day and see you soon on the xsimulator forum:thumbs

I bought my universal joint, assembled it with a hammer, hitting it with an aluminum dowel, and the locks that come with it I put on with needle-nose pliers....

Thank you, I'm still going to paint it, I'm in the testing phase, it's a very laborious job.

Hello I have one question, and I'm new in this. I agreed all the instructions. I see that Hallsensor is at 2.425V to me is at 3.12V. Maybe I missed something? How can I adjust to 2.5, to reduce it by 0.5V? Do it even bother it if it is on 3.1V?
Sorry for English I use translator thanks :)
