I'm running my 2dof with Moto monster minis w/ 30 amp 12v PSU. After about 30 secs in smc3 the motors don't have enough power to move the platform. I have them set to 250 or so I have hooked it up to a 12v battery with the same results. If I power the motors directly I don't have this problem. Any help would be great.

I just installed a new spark fun Moto monster and now it's only putting out 3v while in smc3 i maxed out power out and reduce a everything is set to 0 except kp 500 pwmax 250 kpid 1 KS 1 kpwm 25Khz and it multimeter show 13.4v input and while running sine wave it only puts out a maximum of 3v and barely moves either motor.

Is it a genuine MM or clone, as the latter need testing because they are known to have random faults: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/reputable-monster-moto-suppliers-testing-before-use.158/

I just got around to testing the motors on and moto monster. It seems to be working fine outside smc3. I can turn the potentiometer with the motor attached and it will output the correct voltage. but in SMC3 it still only outputs 3v or so. The yellow output line doesn't move very much. It also has the same output in Simtools as SMC3. I was wondering if it was some how the code. I flashed the arduino with the original .ino file, with the only change being the pot scaling. The feedback works perfectly in smc3 if i manually turn the pot as well. It seems that smc3 is not pushing the right changes from the feedback.
