    Hi guys,

Need some help with the way i have my motor setup versus the seat. when I test with simtools or even with the gem manager and the seat moves up and also down to basicaly give me the motion that i'm looking for. but hte moment i sit on the seat , the seat moves the lever of the motor downwards and when i try to move the seat it wont move. not sure if the rig is telling me that my 240lbs is to much (lol) or if it's the way i have my motors installed versus the seat here are also some pictures.

Can you give some more details and add side view photos.

What control hardware and software are being used and can you please post pictures of all settings.

A couple of initial design related possible issues:

The uni-joint should be as close to the seat base as possible, otherwise it will introduce weird geometry and place greater stress on the motors: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/universal-joint-placement.108/

While it looks like the levers are at 90 degrees to the rod when the rig is at rest, the rod to the rig base looks to be at an acute angle, which will reduce effective torque utilisation.
