    Everthing needs to be sorted and function correctly in SMC3 before even trying to configure SimTools.

    So if you are having SMC3 issues please post more details and settings screenshots. It could be a port conflict, for example you can't run the SMC3 utility and SimTools at the same time, it could be a hardware fault, or something else.

    thanks, I already change the com port in the SMC3 .Ini file but it still does not recognize it. I do not know what happened this jumping to recognize it, I am also running SMC3 with closed simtools.

    I am still unclear if you have set the board and post in the Tools menu of the Arduino IDE, can you please confirm by posting a picture of your settings.

    You said it was but just to confirm is SimTools fully shutdown before you open the SMC3 utility?

    And does SMC3 compile and install to the Arduino without errors?
