Hey all - been reading/lurking for some time now. I'm in the process of building an inverted (hanging) stewart platform, using pneumatic artificial muscles... for my final masters project.

I'm looking to use "No Limits 2" with simtools for my data source - however, I'd like to do some of the heavy lifting when it comes to the 6dof math/etc. I think I've figured out what I need to do, but I want to be sure before I waste time going down a rabbit hole of diminishing returns.

I'd like to have raw surge/sway/heave/yaw/pitch/roll data sent to my controller - my assumption is that if I set each axis to be a separate component simtools will spit out the data in the way that I want. So, for example, if I set axis1a to surge:100%, data spit out for axis1a will be purely surge. Am I correct in this assumption?

You are correct although technically its not raw game data because Simtools normalizes and than scales it with the tuning center before output.

Well, half baked is as good as raw for my purposes... as long as I'm showing that I'm doing the heavy lifting (kinematics) then all is good.
