    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, DC motor, JRK, SimforceGT, 6DOF
    2DOF is a lot simpler to build, is there enough room in the fibreglass shell for the seat to move only. If not you may require alot more power than 12v can achieve.
    For electronics , to keep it simple for someone not experienced in electrics, look at the Jrk12V12 from www.pololu.com a little dearer than the Ard but way less headache and issues down the road.
