What hardware does the rig use, that may help members advise how to configure it for SimTools?

Is Arduino uno with ibt-2 motor controller, 24 volt transtecno motor put in front of platform. I tried to follow the tutorial to get the arduino working but when I try the Output testing nothing moves. Game manager and engine I start them as administrator I disabled firewall and antivirus, but nothing. Do I necessarily have to use the SMC 3 code or arduino does it also work with simtools? With xsim I connect it to the usb and it works. I set the COM3 port and put the values, saved etc. but the motors don't move.Thank you very much for your precious help !! I configure in Simtools like this (see picture) but i don't put any code for Arduino ti prevent damage

I am not sure what code you are using but Interface Output would be like this: L<Axis1a>R<Axis2a>

Thanks for your quick reply!I don't use any code for arduino because i understand what's is the right arduino code for me. I simply open simtools and i setup the interface setting as in jpg.
