    My Motion Simulator:
    DC motor, Arduino, 6DOF
I decided to add a start button to my motion rig:

The main power switch triggers a relay to power on the mains to everything, the engine start button turns on and off the PC, and the LED light lights up when the PC is on. I added some sound effects using a Feather express M0, a cheap amp board and some cheap speakers from ebay. The box is 3d printed and the wiring is as messy as my terrible first attempts at coding in python! Ultimately fairly pointless but it was good fun making it. The amp board has a bass output so I plan on adding a bass transducer to the steering wheel at some point.

I love it, adding a bit of class and polish to the otherwise mundane task of starting and shutting down a rig :grin
