These are some questions that we had after a lot of research that we did, this is in perticular to @Grigory. We were inspired by the idea and the execution of he's last project.

We are looking for parts for our school thesis (a 6DOF motion platform).

The parts which are already fixed are following:

    Mige 130st m04025 (6pcs)

    Planetary Gearbox 20:1/30:1 (6pcs)

The ‘driver’ decision is a problem: we have to choose between Hitachi wj200 007sf/015sf or Mige driver (half the price of Hitachi)

We already found a lot of information on this forum, however still have some questions:

    1. How about the connection from the encoder to the Hitachi driver?

    2. Do we need a Modbus485 (as connection between drivers) necessary?

    3. Is it possible to control the driver (Mige as wel as Hitachi) by an Arduino?

    4. Or is it only possible to work with an AMC1280 (from Thanos)?

    5. How can we calculate the necessary break resistor?
