GTL is a great simulation and deserves a video so here it is! Thanks for making a plugin for it @value1 !

Note: The screens alignment appears off but that is because the video is not taken from the viewing aspect of the driver. In the drivers seat the screens alignments are correct.

ps Sorry I choose Dailymotion to upload my videos to due to their over advertising!

Nice video , pity its a bit dark, but I understand your commercial intentions and not willing to show the final product.
Yes I can see that GT legends is a more true simulation, and I will do a video later on a better simulation game for the desk racer for your reference.
Also For your reference, the video I did on the sim for Flatout 2, that sim, plus another like it in the build process will be commercially used for hire out to parties as well as pay for play days at various car shows, as well as fundraisers for Autism Kids.
I have full details for commercial use as listed out by @yobuddy and @RaceRay , so thats covered.
    Good luck with your build.

You are right that there is only so much I can publish if I wish to pursue patents for my design. But even in better light there is not much to see because most everything is enclosed anyway.

I wish you to succeed in your endeavors! Especially in raising money for autistic children! But, while its good that you have things worked out with simtools licensing, I must warn you if you are not already aware, that most game titles EULA’s are for home computers only! While a home computer can be used for business these days, its definition is, “A computer intended for home use”. If you are doing something to make money from it using games licensed for home use, you may be targeted at some point if you make enough or get noticed somehow. I doubt anyone would make an issue with raising money for your purpose but you never know! It would be wise to check the EULA’s of the titles you plan to use though!

Thank you @BlazinH , I have already checked details regarding EULA and other licencing of games.
This is to fund my 2 kids with Autism, 8 year old boy Moderate Autism with global delay and 10 year old high functioning Aspergers.
If you need more information about this , please let me know as I can supply endless reports.

I didn’t think that needed mentioning but it wouldn’t be good to end up in a lawsuit! They would probably just send a cease and desist notice first anyway.

Only reason I mentioned it was because I contemplated opening a race center but after looking at many EULA’s I don’t think I would last long. Maybe they’re somewhat different in your country than where I am though.

Here in the USA, where Nascar is king, Nascar Racing 2003 Season would be perfect for a race center (even though its 10+ old its still fantastic). It has a built in lan system also for connecting them. But it is the precursor to iRacing and when Sierra shut its doors, iRacing bought the rights and built on it (actually some of the same people at iRacing were the original developers at Pypayrus but Sierra owned it). Anyway, they have already sued people over license violations and won! It’s for home use only. If you want to do something commercial you are forced to get a commercial iRacing license or risk a lawsuit.

But if you have some information that you think I should know about, then send it along please! It would be great from my point of view if I were misinterpreting the language in them! I'm not an attorney so it's quite possible!

I wish you all the best in your fundraising endeavors @bsft !

As I am in Australia and you are in America , we do not have any more information to share.
You have your commercial licences now for selling simulators.
I have my commercial licences for gathering funds to raise 2 special needs kids. You don't need to know finer details nor how the funds are distributed or collected.
Its hard enough to raise funds as it is and people like you probing into my plans to support them is not appreciated.

Focus on your own business interest and leave mine out of it.

I highly suggest you stop discussing this anymore. There is nothing more to discuss.

No problem mate. I misunderstood you again. I only asked because I thought you were offering it. With your kids, I don’t have any reason to not believe want you say. Therefore by reports I didn’t think you were talking about them. Take care.

I'm off now because it appears we may be boring others with this topic on this thread. :D

@value1 : many thanks for this plugin!
I'm currently building a 7 segments LED gear indicator using GAmeDash and your plugin! it's great
    (tutorial in progress here)

As it's never ending, I wish to improve and add flags color (yellow, blue...) to follow an idea that @eaorobbie once mentionned
do yo think you could extract this information from GTL?
    :)

I assume you are aware that GTL is not providing pitch, roll and yaw angles.
Now regarding the additional flags: Unfortunately these flags are also not available in GTL.
A wide spectrum of dash data is provided by rFactor/2, iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Project Cars.

As I haven't finished my new sim, I am simply using GameDash and didn't notice the point you raised...
    Thanks for answering anyway!
    :)
As i'm playing rfactor and AC, do you think it would be possible to retrieve the flag information?

Is there a way to get this working on Gtrl Demo version? I want to run the demo for Gamedash tests and if i want to patch the game it says invalid data path.
