    Hi you all.
Well I got my Rig running. And every thing went fine in SMC3 utility.

Today I connected my G27 to a USB 3.0 port, and suddenly a ground cable on the MM went up in smoke (bad smell)

So I re soldered the ground and powered up the MM again. I forgot to remove the USB from the G27. So it burned again.
I re soldered the cable, removed the G27 USB, and run SMC3 utility again.
Every thing went fine, and it run for 15 minutes........

    Any idea?

By the way where does SMC3 Utility saves his images?

Hopefully you can help me out, otherwise it will only be a moving rig without a game.

    Hi @JonBakhol
You have to measure if there is continuity of the negative from the output of the power supply to the grounding of the electrical network, surely that will be the problem.
Another way to solve it is to isolate the g27 pedals from the simulator's chassis, you can open them and isolate them

    I hope it helps.

    @NjMotion
    Thanks for the quick answer.
My pedals are modded and bolted to the chassis.
What is the best way to isolate them?

Also how can I isolate the negative from the PSU to the grounding? (My electrical skills aren't that developed)

    Thanks again.

You have to measure if there is continuity of the negative of the potentiometers of the pedals to the chassis and isolate them if possible.

What model of power supply do you have?

    Thanks again

Pic of PSU is attached.. I do not have grounding on my 220V in my house. (Maybe that's also the problem) I'll see if I can isolate them/ and how.

    Thanks mate.

    Do you have isolated motors?

If you do not have a grounding system in your house (which is very dangerous) it would be enough to put the simulator in a different socket of the g27 and the computer.

    Hi @NjMotion & @SeatTime

I put the pedals on a piece of wood. Put the PSU on a different socket...and it all works fine. No bad smell from burning cables anymore.
    Thanks for the help.

Now get the rig working with a game :)

    Ride on
