    YES YES YES YES
I have both motors playing nicely together (motor 1 is slightly jerky) but both basically following a lovely sine wave in SMC3utils, I cant tell you how good that feels after sooooooooo many days of tinkering.
Now to try opening Simtools in the morning

not sure why with exactly the same settings motor 2 is smooth as silk following all the test outputs but motor 1 is slightly jerky but i'll live with it tonight.

SimTools won't break anything, but does need its own tuning, as per previous advice.

A lot of us use these. You can get them for around $15 to $20 and they're noiseless because they're non-contacting.

Since you can't reverse the output on hall pots by switching the wires that's why I just say reverse the leads to the motor because that works in either case @MarkusB.

With SimTools closed go to your menu -> SimTools and open SimTools PluginUpdater, then just drag the Project Cars 2 plugin zip file on to that, which installs it.

You also have to activate Shared Memory in PCars itself?

    Hi
Simulator has been working great for a while now but since last nights Steam update my motion is completely off in PCars2 but fine in LFS, do I have to capture min/max again in tuning centre after a Steam update ?
    Cheers

A Steam update should not change anything.

But do check if a game update may have changed the PC2 in-game settings: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/projectcars.188/

deffo got shared memory on, tried removing patch and re installing, not capturing anything in tuning centre, values just stay at zero.

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the game files in Steam?

    Also try reinstalling the plugin.
