Gear VR hack to Htc Vive anyone?

    I ordered a lense kit on ebay after I found this video by SweViver.



    Anyone else tried this mod?

    Rather crazy that old lenses from Gear VR put into HTC Vive/pro can make god rays go away, improve sweetspot and enhance clearity this much! (Everyone which has done the mod, and written about it online, are completely blown away by the image quality improvement, not only SweViver)

    Why didnt HTC use quality lenses instead of the horrible fresnel lenses they use? Cant cost that much more?

    Can hardly wait to get my new old lenses 15 august. :-D
