    Hello,
I am new here and looking for motion DYI info. A lot of reading to do :)
A couple of months ago i converted my fanatec V1 pedals to have a hydrolic brake.
I spent about ~150 euro's (excl the original pedals).
I was amazed by the results! So much brake feel /control, i never imagined. I am considering writing a detailed description / how to if anyone is interested?

Do you use a pressure sensor for the braking force ?

Yes it does use a beefy pressure sensor, i have been tinkering with it since this post.... I feel it needs a bit more prototyping before i make any suggestions of copying my work... Still when it works it is an absolute killer pedal set

I have used a motorcycle cylinder and a pressure sensor

it seems to work pretty good - I could fit a slave cylinder not sure it is needed

Well thats exactly what i have been tinkering with... In the pics above you can see a cheap "pull type" slave cylinder (meant for motorbike's clutch). It works but didnt feel sturdy to me. So now i am testing with a regular motorbike brake claw. And if i read you correctly, i was also wondering to even remove the brake claw :)

i also have the pull type slave cylinder - but i have not tried it

i use a pressure sensor and master cylinder - the more i press the brake the greater the pressure - it is not dependent on the travel of the brake like most gaming pedals
