    Hello everyone, question about extruder.

    Am I the only one having trouble to load my PLA string into the extruder? Whenever I try, I just can't get it to enter the tiny hole provided after the driving gears. I mean, I have to go through the gears and hit the exact position of the hole, slightly bigger then my...

    I always end up unscrewing the whole thing to see and guide the filament where it should go.

    Are all extruders like that?

    I don't have my printer yet but when investigating mods to order parts I saw there was a variety of approaches to access, from double sided tape to magnets holding the cover, or a printed hinge so it could lift up.

    This is probably what I will end up to do. Loading from the top is just impossible. I tried many time.
    But I resist. No mod for now. It works, and I want to print gears.
