Ok awesome! Thanks a lot noorbeast.

So to get this puppy working I just copy all that XML data in the above post and paste it over all data (select all / paste) in that file and it should work? No need to patch again or anything?

    Thanks agaib

    @Benji85 - do this...

    - copy the data from the .xml file (shown in traveltrousers post above, either one - they both work) onto your clipboard.
-go to file explorer on your pc, (you are going to paste the xml data into the correct xml file in the 'appdata' section of your pc). type %appdata% into the search field and enter, then still in the search field click on 'roaming' then open the 'local' folder. Find and open simtools folder, then open the folder called 'gameplugins'. You'll see a file called 'eliteDangerous64_Offsets'. Open this file with notepad and replace data with clipboard data. Save and when you next start simtools etc it should work. Its what I did.

edit: no need to repatch or anything

Is much better. You get -14 to +14 which drops off as you stop accelerating and then boost pushes it temporarily to +93 :)

Arena seems to use new pointers each time you spawn or die.... bloody annoying (but at least they're allowing just 2 people in matches now, so you can play).

Well guys, it only bloody works! This is very cool to have the chair reacting to so much more the ship does! I'm looking forwards to a good session later this evening!

I did noticed that not much happens when you use vertical thrusters is that normal?
will experiment more later now gotta make some dinner!:)

Yeah I've seen the vids :) yeh your latest 6dof does look pretty dammed awesome - wish I had the know how to do something like that!
I'm stuck here with my 2dofreality rig ( probably upgrade to 3dof soon for some racing)
I even hear they are upgradable to 6dof but will be some time before I can afford that I think ;)

Any other 2dof users here want to share their settings? :)
    Cheers, Ben

    Hello again guys,
I've given traveltrousers xml a go in the ED demo - all is good!. I've now had time to check it out in the main game (ED horizons, and in VR - as per usual). Everything works in demo mode but in the main game I've noticed that while the motion works well, it only does so if you are in the same state of play and stay there i.e. you start up in normal space, or in a station, on a pad, outside a station, in a rez site or cz site and only if you stay there. But when you change the state of play (jump to supercruise, jump to another system) the motion is either lost altogether (no data in received in tuning center) or more often than not its random moves rather like reading the data from another ship! (motion data in tuning center but not mine). This conntinues when you reach your destination. The only way around this I've found is to exit from ED, then restart ED and you get full motion back again wherever you last were but only until you jump again.
Has anyone else experienced this? - bit of a breaker really unless you just start the plugin up once you get to a rez site, cz site or drop in at a station - then turn it off when you jump out.

Rather than exiting the game, you may be able to alt-tab outa the game and use the (On / Off) button in game manger to stop and restart the motion. At least until new pointers are found anyway.
    Take care,

Thanks for the idea @yobuddy. I've given the on/off button a try but unfortunately its ED that needs to be restarted each time.

You can restart GameEngine or GameManager instead. This might be quicker than restarting ED.
Of course the right solution is to find the right pointers! ;)

Yep I have exaclee the same issue. Rather a shame and looks like joystick plugin is a better option untill different pointers are found

Yes I tried that first and got no motion, only after copying travel trousers XML data did it work but suffers from the issue Kev B described.

Ok these have motion for when you are using Frame Shift (Pitch Roll and Yaw)

Have a go hopefully they will work for everyone, they work great here ;)
