While I am waiting for a new JRK, I figured I would try to set up a dual PC for controlling purposes.

My first question is do I need to have my JRK's plugged in to test? Or will SimTools still send Game Data - Input even though I have no controllers/motors hooked up to do anything.

I followed the instructions in the FAQ section and everything followed along fine. I successfully changed the IP address in GameManager so it was "Connected" just like the instructions showed. On my second PC I opened GameEngine and Tuning Center. I am not getting any Game Data Input but that may be caused by me trying to test with "stuff" hooked up.

My second question is regarding LFS. I know the plugin is/was included in the SimTools download, but how do I get the zipped plugin by itself for my PC2? Or do both PC's have to have SimTools and the games themselves?

    Thanks,
    Steve

@eaorobbie - I have SimTools on both but I was trying No Limits not LFS. I will try LFS next to see if I can receive data input on my PC2. Do you know if I can test the PC set ups without the JRK's plugged in?

No needs an interface setup. But actually doesn't need to be plugged in SimTools will let out a couple of beeps to warn you an interface error has occurred.

@CoachKalk: you don't need to have the JRK's plugged in but you need to have the interfaces defined and axis assigned! Otherwise there will be no data in Tuning Window!
