It has a keyway, so you could use that and a set screw.

Not sure I would manage drilling and taping a thread in that motor shaft, I dont think pressure enough against it would suffice the forces

Maybe start a build thread ? then list links and everything....you found a good deal on the motor from the looks of the price.

Very well, I was torn between keeping this a dump all opensimwheel or a new build thread. I know this isnt specific to simtools...yet.....but it is sim-related and going on my simtools simulator

Motor arrived today! Yay...forgot to order wires at the same time....don't make that mistake...that mistake cost me 30 dollars shipping extra for no good reason. ..waiting for my tax return to order the servo control......hard to get one good list of all the parts, wiring diagrams, electronics, etc.......different configurations so slowing down so I get the right stuff

The mige does have a threaded end so with h or l type bushing i believe i can use the lesser expensive option. Unfortunately i ordered a 19mm and need a 22mm.

For everyones reference....I used the following coupling and it fits super snug on the motor shaft and only cost me 13$....I used a dumbbell in my office to punch it dsown on the shaft. I will attach a round pice of steel that will then attach to my quick-release.

    Here is the shaft coupling.

Here is the quick release I am using.
