Question DIY FFB Steering wheel motor? Brain fart perhaps?

    Since i quit flying rc helis several years ago i have still some equipment left. One of them is Sullivan Dynatron starter.

    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, DC motor, Arduino, 6DOF
    its a powerful motor - but not at low rpm

    a direct Drive steering wheel needs torque at very low rpm

    it would make a good actuator motor

    DD wheel coming sometimes but not yet . :)

    Diy ff steering wheel is probably my next project. Is that starter good for that job with right gear ratio etc.
