    I am using a CYTRON20A, PWM/DIR motor drive with a MY6812 dc motor
I did what you told me, and until now all good

I have built steering wheel with force feedback. Everything is working except FFB. I did the wiring correctly, I checked it several times. When i turn on my power supply for motor it just starts spinning in one direction (to the left). If someone knows how to fix it please reply.

Try reversing the polarity on the motor or the A-B signals on the encoder

Test the directios first before u do any radical changes..first change pins on Arduino Leonardo and see if they correspond with your input (left is left, and right is right) dnt "invert" anything in the settings(air-wave) if u steer left it must go left.if not.change directions around.once that is sorted test ffb using wheel check..the first 4tiks must tick left direction..if not..reverse the pwm on the BTS then try again...it should work 100%

I checked wiring again and it seems that i messed up the signals with the 5v and gnd. Is there any chance that i damaged the motor driver now?

I accidentaly changed the 5v and gnd to 10 and 11 slot on Arudino Leonardo and signals to 5v and gnd.

Yeah, i'm not convinced that would cause it to break. The Adrduino is not likely to be able to source enough current to damage the logic level converter on the IBT and either of the other pins can be pulled low or high as they are high impedance inputs so that should not be a problem either.

Power up the wheel / IBT with no arduino connected - What does it do?

I have another problem now. Everything is still functioning except FFB. FFB is not fully broken but i think its something with the program. When i turn on my Leonardo in PC the wheel just starts rotating counter clockwise a bit more that 3 circles with a low power given to a motor and in the end its rotating it clockwise 1 second and just stops. When i click Calibrate in Wheel Configurator nothing happens. Also the Wheel Check is not working for me.

That does just sound like it can not find z (center) signal.

Does your encoder have z signal or are you using a button?

Have you confirmed it is seeing the A/B Pulses? The little icon in the app should turn with wheel.

Have you installed pullups on signal pins?

I have not used the old arduino version for years, I found it too buggy. I prefer the new stm32 based mmos from ebolz magy - currently in dev and works so much better. its donationware (you have to pay, 10 euro min) but totally worth it

I am using a printer encoder with a disc and i use a button as a z signal. It is seeing the A/B pulses (when i turn the wheel red triangle turns with wheel). I didnt install pullups on signal pins. I have heard of that donationware and i am curious where can i donate and do you have some schematic for how to connect the pullups.

Ok, so if the triangle is moving ok, you should be fine on A/B. What it probably means is you need a pullup on the button itself.

For pullup wiring - This should help https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/pull-up-resistors/all

For EMC Firmware, you can find it on Facebook 'EMC Developments' or you can send him an email direct. I have it, but won't post it here to respect his inbox - If you want it, PM me.
