    Using and old USB keyboard I made a handbrake / e-brake for my rig. Wanted to 3D print as much of it as possible.

    USB Keyboard PCB £0 (old keyboard)
    Switch £0 (spare from 3D printer)
    6mm ali rod £3
    Spring £1
    Screws £0 (reused from keyboard and PC hardware)

    Yes, really very budget, congrats to the builder. To be honest I fear when I pull hard (and in a real car I do so) the brake will blow up in my face ;) Please do not understand this as an offense @early_m, just my thoughts in terms of stability

    I cringe a little when my 19 month old starts pulling on it, but its actually pretty robust and there's not much force going through it as it's an e-brake.
