    Good morning,
My name is Alex. I put a home-made simulator back into service. 2 fiat windshield wiper motor. Arduino and monster moto with potentiometers connected to printer belt pulley ratio 1/3. Part printed with my 3d printer. The seat part is fixed on a ball joint and stabilized by a screw at the front of the simulator. The motors do not heat up at pwm 200, everything works perfectly. I picked up ideas from right to left. The aesthetics are rather ugly but the essentials and good functioning. I use a Pimax Artisan vr headset. Hotas Saitek for Flight simulator. I am attaching some photos of the whole thing.

Yes, the motors are isolated from ground, I made the modification. On my second simulator of the same construction, I found wiper motors that do not need to be isolated. I will give the reference for those who are interested, so no need to make any modifications. I have been using the simulator for years without any problems. I preferred the belt system rather than gears because there is less mechanical stress and perfect insulation between the potentiometer and the motor. For the Chinese motomonster, I did not put a radiator on the chip, only a large fan that blows on it. It has held for years. I use simtools 2. I took the Arduino code from RacingMat. Thank you for your community who helped me a lot and I had to share my work
