    I'm using game dash for my speed based fans only.

    So far every race game works, except Dirt Rally.

    I have approached the installation for DR the same as all other working titles:

    -Installed the plug-in
    -Patched the game
    -Checked the dash settings in game manager
    -Set the correct values in game dash

    The settings of my hardwaresettingsconfig.xml in the Mygames/Dirt Rally folder

    Setting in Simtools

    Settings in game dash

    Simdash starts but every digit in the dashes stays at zero.

    Since i'm not using motion, i have made no adjustments in Game Engine at all.
    I have followed the same process for all race games and they all work, except Dirt Rally.

    I already have done:
    - Steam integrity check of DR
    - Reinstalled the DR plug-in
    - Start the game without Simcommander (which i need for my AccuForce)
    - Port forwarding to 4123 with SC4
    - Tried codemasters proxy server

    I really hope that @SilentChill, @Pitt or @RaceRay can help me out.

    Hi Craig

    I haven't tried setting up a Dirt Rally profile in game engine.

    Because i don't have motion, game engine just runs in the background but i haven't made any adjustments or profile in Game Engine. All other games work fine without profile in game engine.
    If i do create profile, what settings to i need to adjust.?

    Try this

    Code:
    <motion_platform>
                   <udp enabled="true" extradata="1" ip="127.0.0.1" port="4123" delay="1" />
            <udp enabled="true" delay="1" port="20777" ip="127.0.0.1" extradata="1" />

    Ok guys today i

    - reinstalled Dirty Rally
    - completely deleted the Mygames/Dirt Rally folder
    - reïnstalled simtools and all plug-ins
    - reïnstalled gamedash

    I installed the Dirt Rally plugin. Patched the hardwaresettingsconfig.xml and changed the dbox enabled setting to true

    And it worked :cheers

    Big thanks to @SilentChill and @stevemontuno for trying to help me out. I'm not sure if the dbox setting does anything or not, but everything is working now, so i'm not changing a thing anymore.:thumbs

    The problem is back :(

    A couple of weeks ago my pc died when i pressed the reset button. Had to install everything. Now everything works fine again except........... Dirt Rally.

    Again no wind and the dash only shows zeros at start up. I even copied the hardwaresettingconfig.ini from my old installation into the mygames/dirt/hardwaresettings folder, but no go

    Reïnstalled the plugin's, the game, simtools........... no sure what to do now??

    Did some further testing this evening, with the hardwaresettingconfig.xml file from the previous installation that worked fine:

    - Simcommander (GS4): Works
    - Platform manager (NLMv3) : Works
    - Dashmeter pro : Works
    - Simdash (windsim) : Does not work

    To test if the data output on port 4123 works, i have changed the port settings in the dashmeter pro settings ini file to 4123 and DMP works fine.

    Prelimenary conculusion is the hardwaresettingsconfig.xml is configurated correct and only simtools + simdash is not working. All dashes remain at zero.

    All other games work fine and have the wind sim that i love so much.

    Actually this is what the plugin is supposed to do in the first place. Strange, that you had to enter this manually…
