    Hi guys!
    I have a problem.
It seems that my USB to Serial adapter don't run on win 7 64-bit. It run on XP. The problem is that I don't find the driver couse is an old USB/serial. But in win XP it didn't need the drivers..I just plug the connector in the USB port.
    knowed issues about that?

    thanks a lot,

    Regards
    Stefano

I have the devantech adaptater and i have noticed a small bug with x-sim. Sometimes when adaptater do some check (red light flashing 10 times) if i launch the profiler during this checking, the actuators aren't detected.

It is a bug or i should do some modifications?

    Thanks AK

Providing the exact model of your adapter would help ... :)

I had issues initially with some cheap adapters and Win7 x64. There were no drivers available for 7 but I had it work with XP or vista drivers by disabling Win7 x64 driver signature check. I switched to Devantech after and no more issues ...

    Which version of X-Sim ?

Are your actuators already powered on when launching the Profiler? The only time I have this issue is when I forget to power on the actuators before launching X-Sim.

Is it always the same actuator or it's ramdom?

Did you double checked your power and data connectors? I had issues initially with my SCN5 power and data connectors that were a little bit loose causing the profiler to stop detecting the actuators when scanning or in game.

I use the last version of X-Sim. I always put the power on my actuators and i have correctly verified my power and connectors.

I have done a mistake, i would say in my precedent post Every time when adapter do some check (red light flashing 10 times) if i launch the profiler during this checking, the 2 actuators aren't detected.

    Thanks AK

Did you activate any Flow control options in the Com port settings ? If yes try disabling it.
