    Yes I use those motors and introduced them originally here. But look for something closer to you. Try an ebay search for golf trolley motors/suppliers. They are similar and 12v

    Milton, I think you have great motors in your hands, why don't you try them before getting any new ones. heavy torque gives you the possibility to use longer levers, and longer levers help with speed...

    Probably stating the obvious here @Milton Amaya , but have to hooked up the Motors to a battery / Power Supply and reversed the polarity on the motors to see what the motors do? Torque is nothing if they can't reverse in an instant.

    You're right, but these are wheelchair motors, it is supposed that a wheelchair goes forward and back without probs.

    Agreed. However, I've never seen a wheelchair go from forward to instant reverse. They have to stop before hand. Sure, it's because of the gearing etc, but I would be worried that these motors can not hit reverse in an instant at the speeds required by a Sim.

    Testing would have to be done making sure the switching of poles was very quick. In other words, not giving the motor time to go "off" before going into reverse.

    Something occured to me @insanegr , my shoulder mount DC motor seat mover I had , the motors centre bolt was in line with the centre of the uni. That and the rod arms were 15deg out and 13 deg to the side. It worked perfectly even moving 130kg player no problem. Im 85 kg and 6' tall. So option C would work just fine @Milton Amaya

    Also. @insanegr The brickie actuator sim , the unis holding the actuators are well above the centre line of the pivot. Yes they are not a DC motor , however the suggestion about a "correct" position for motors just went out the window.

    That steel plate looks bad ass. Have you mounted your wheel to see if its too far out? Ideally you want to be able to use seat belts to hold you tight to the seat and having to stretch at all to grab the wheel wont be a great experience.

    Good point, i have drill 3 holes so i can move the chair forward each position is one inch distance.
