Building of the new support for the arms of the motors.

In my last configuration, the motors were not powerfull enough for the roll movement, so I calculate with simtool how to increase the force to roll axis: the solution is to enlarge the support. I will add some springs too to help the motors to come back at the origin position.

I have received the same cardan and assembled it, but after assembly now it is pretty stiff, hard to move.. Do you have any clue why?

    EDIT:

OK, I have found the problem. When I put the small security clips, I guess it presses too hard on the joints and it is hard too move.

When I remove the clips and de-pressed the joints a little bit, everything is smooth.

That's strange, how did you mount it ? maybe you bent it a little bit so it's too tight.
Mine was a little hard to assemble so if I remove the security clip the rolling doesn't move at all.

It can be a little harder to move with the hand but with the weight of the sim I think it will be fine don't worry. Could you share a picture ?

I am curious too see a video of the movements.

I'm thinking that it would be less stressful and easier for motors if you maybe mounted the rods higher on the seat frame, like this maybe:

I know that mounting high to shoulders works best for the seat movers, but I'm not 100% sure with full frames like yours. I guess when the motors are positioned behind the frame, it is better to mount higher to the shoulders.

Maybe someone can back me up on this?

That what I wanted to do at first but after using simcalc it seems that it's not the better configuration.
Actually I had no problems with the pitch or surge, the problem was with the roll and sway but now with the new position of the rods it's working fine.
I will add 4 springs to help a little bit the motors.

I want to add a movie but it's not working, what is the kind of file I can add ? .mp4 doesn't work
