    Hi,
My name is Loïs, I'm from South of France (Marseille),
After lot of research on the type of the sim I will build a 2DOF full frame mobile for car races, plane, and roller coaster. I'll make it work with a VR like Occulus, I'm waiting for the next generation of VR.

I made a try with a small model in MECANO that worked and built a prototype in wood so now I'm building the real one.

The metal structure is in 40*40mm steel in 2mm deep.
    I will use 2 motors 120W.

Just a thought, the best use of torque is at 90 degrees and its effective use drops off dramatically past about 40 degrees. So moving the top rod mount point rearward to the end of the blue frame would make better use of torque and lessen the load on the engines.

Have a play with SimCalc to get an idea of how design decisions affect the physics involved: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...e-linear-speed-and-forces-of-your-design.270/

Hello noorbest, Thanks for your comment, actually, the position of the motors, and the top rod and the G center are not set yet.
I've begin to buid the mobile frame and then after I will find the G center and I'll calculate the better place to put the motors and the top rod with sim calc.
I first put the motors at this place to have 13° of angle, I know the Torque will decrease but I'll use the motors on 120° only instead of 180°.

Now the position of the seat has been found, the next step is to find the G center, I will follow the tutorial of Racingmat using a tube. Thanks to Racingmat for his work, his tutorial is really usefull !
