    Hello

I've been going down this rabbit hole for a while now and since im very space constrained i've discounted the thought of ever doing a 6 dof platform. Since i do fly and drive it would be a good thing to build and looking at it though it shouldnt really take that much more space?

Currently i got a P1x from simlab and when i put the SFX100 on it it will be as big as i can go The space i got to work with is about 11.4m x 1.4m but i can move it slightly into the room if i put it on casters. Perhaps just a couple in front and use a lever to move it around.

Im curious what the smallest for factor one could get away with and still have a good range? Will 150mm be fine? thats the range of my SFX and it would be good to re purpose as a folding belt drive if needed. Might sell them and go Silent chills route too

Also there is the stiffness. its not super important but since i have a Simucube 2 direct drive it needs some stiffness.

Has any of you gone down this route? How is Yaw/ traction loss on a 6 dof with small range?
