After I was no longer interested in it for a long time, I would now like to continue with my project .....

Unfortunately, I have found that I have absolutely no idea about motors and actuators.

When I look at the SCN actuators then I really have to say that is way too expensive for me!

Is there really no solution that costs me around 150 € or so?
when i look at amazon i find a lot of door openers or other linear motors that fit the price.

Actually I thought 2 motors so back left and right and in the middle of the rics a joint from an old drive shaft ...
But then I think the hub is too small.

I know that it doesn't make any great heights but does it go to the corners of my rics such a motor as I find on amazon (door / gate opener)?

Can someone please put together the cheapest configuration for me?

    Regards

The likes of amazon door / gate openers are way too slow and not suitable for motion simulation, where you want wast precise motion: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/speed-needed-for-good-motion.218/

Before getting into what motors/actuators may be needed, you first need to specify what you want to build, what sort of mass it must move and at what performance level. Have a good read through the Design section of the FAQs to get started: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/design-considerations-resources.24/category

SimCalc will give you a good idea of the trade offs in design Vs physics: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...e-linear-speed-and-forces-of-your-design.270/

Noorbeast has the tips for days!
I'm using windscreen wiper motors in my 2dof at $40au each.
Are U already building the Simulator? Can U post some pics?

This price actuator needs accessories, only China Taobao procurement can meet your requirements! The maximum speed of DC motor actuator made by myself is 250mm / s, the single thrust is 130kg, and the stroke is 100 mm. The cost price of this kind of actuator is 1000 RMB per piece.

could you share some more specs and pictures of your actuator, possibly a link to taobao?

Based on the improvement of the design of sfx100, China Taobao purchased accessories for DIY DC brushed motor linear actuators. 350w DC brush motor 1204 ball screw. The stroke is 100mm, the maximum speed is 185mm/s, and the thrust is 150kg.

Can you share a design? Which pwm controllers are you using?
