@robcoll I mean the code on the Arduino that should be updated with a new version ... maybe you should ask @Wanegain on his thread ...

Hi ! Sorry I did not see the thread.

In interface settings you need to use 10 output bit range and not 8 ;)

Ok... test result...i got control with the slider on the motors..but nut feedback from the pots.....

I have connected k8055 back to check on it motor direction and pot feedbaks...with this software and able to see motor direction and pots directions..and they checked ok on both...with the pots right polarity...!!

back to arduino uno.. full control on both motors using the slider on output type (a)Axis Output...... but not feedbaks??????

You need 10 and not 11.
Try to change the polarity of motors and check the pot connection (A0 and A1)

    arduino uno
    A0 pot motor #1
    A1 pot motor #2
    8 rx/tx to S1 sabertooth
    sabertooth 0v to arduino gnd..

Like I have said before...checked with k8055 board software and they are in the correct direction and polarity..no doubt is connected right

Please try this new sketch (I don't think it will resolve but it works better) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8IoIAW9JuhPMG0zZUJNVGhYRnM/view?usp=sharing

You can control up to 4 motors with 2 Sabertooth 2x25
    Sabertooth1 S1 on pin 8
    Sabertooth2 S1 on pin 10

    Communication 9600 bauds 8N1
Output bit range 10 type binary

    Sabertooth switches 2, 4 and 5 OFF

Interface output : X1<Axis1a>CX2<Axis2a>C (you can add X3<Axis3a>CX4<Axis4a>C)

    Shutdown output : XE00C

You can now use a potentiometer (10k linear is perfect) on A5 to define the global power.
You can use a switch on pin 13 and gnd to set the motion simulator in standby (default position)

SOLVED..........I got (3) Arduino UNO R3 ATmega328P DCcEle blue ordered online all this time I was swapping one from the other with same results...I kinda suspect that you guys was NOT wrong and something else was the problem...so...!!I went to Radio Shack and got a new one Arduino UNO REV 3 (ATMega8U2) for $19.99 us..Plug it in went back to the original setup suggested by@Wanegain / speedy and SURPRISED .....!!!! all I have to do was cero(0) out the Axis pots until no motors moves at output start on or off shutdown..waaalaaa....motors responded to pots movements in the right directions...Ran LFS...Wooohooo..Just Need to work in Axis adjustment...

So You Where Right @Wanegain In interface settings 10 output bit range..
    Thanks..Again
